> Multiple submissions allowed if significantly different

Dear NTIRE 2020 deblurring challenge participants,

Following the previous NTIRE workshop series and AIM 2019 workshop, we allow multiple solutions to be submitted from a single team if they are sufficiently different.
However, if the solutions have minor differences, the submission could be rejected.

Here are some examples
1) accepted case
In NTIRE 2017 Single Image Super-Resolution Challenge, team SNU_CVLab submitted two methods: EDSR and MDSR.
EDSR is a scale-specific SR model and MDSR is a multi-scale SR model in a single architecture.
EDSR and MDSR each ranked 1 & 2 at that time and the team won a single award.

2) rejected case
In NTIRE 2019 Video Deblurring Challenge, a team submitted methods A and B.
B was an ensemble method of A.

In case you are trying to submit multiple solutions and want to clarify which case you belong to, please contact us in advance.

Best,
Seungjun

Hi,

If we have two models, one is floating-point model, and the other is quantized and pruned model with slightly PSNR drop.
In this case, can it be viewed as two methods or only one?

Thank you.

Dear jimmy.chiang,

You can submit both models if the quantized model went through additional processes than simple quantization.
For example, further quantization-aware training, etc.
Please elaborate on the differences and positive/negative sides of each method in your fact sheet.

Best,
Seungjun
