I means, is the evaluation of this contest only based on the test predictions? Or, is the final score of the team based on both the learning phase score and the final evaluation phase score ?

The evaluation (test) phase is the only one that is taken into account for the prizes. The learning step using the validation ground-truth is just to allow to test your method and see its evolution, so as to have an idea of how it will perform on the test data. But of course you can go directly to the test phase if you want.
