I was wondering if it was possible to know how the Synthetic data was generated. As you mentioned, you add white noise to the signal, but what is exactly the distribution of that noise? After subtracting signal and signal + noise I see that the noise mean and std changes depending on the tracks. Thus, I wonder what is the distribution used for each track. If you can't provide that information I understand, but I think it could be useful to know.

Therefore, revealing the white noise distribution is out of the scope of this competition.
