As stated in the white paper, "One of the processes, Y := Xd (called the noisy response process), is of particular interest."
However, in the training data, Y is not equal to any component of X

Hi,

towards the end of Subsection 1.1, the whitepaper states that d = 15 and that X_15 = Y (d is the dimension of the system). There's no column named X_15 in the data as that process is denoted by Y.
