> How are the S2 and planet datasets aligned?

The S2 and Planet datasets have different resolutions, 10m and 3m respectively, yet they cover the exact same geographical area with the same number of pixels (1024x1024). Are the S2 images upsampled to the Planet resolution?

Yes sentinel-2 images are upsampled to 1024x1024.
