> What is the basis of the specific value of annotated emotion polarity?

Dear Organizers :
In the file "additional_infor_train_emotion_polarity.csv", I found the additionnal emotion polarity infomation of each image. I have questions about the reason and basis of the annotated emotion polarity.
1. In other words, what is the basis of the annotated emotion polarity? I wondered in which ways you obtain the specific value of the emotion polarity.
2. Is there any correlation among the emotion polarity of different label? Are the all emotion polarities of different label independent?

Thanks for your attention to this matter.

Dear,
Here is an interpretation example of emotion polarity values:
E.g., "happy: 0.5, angry: 0.2". These numbers can be understood as "the polarity of happy emotion is probably higher than the hate emotion, and both emotions exist in the scene".
We did not manually enforce any correlation of emotions in the labeling process and it would be interesting to see relevant insights from participants to exploit this further.
Best,
The EmoRecCom team
