Along with the ongoing series of HASOC, we have started a new workshop on fake news detection.

We invite you to participate in the 2021 edition of CheckThat! Lab @CLEF.

T3. Fake News Detection (English)
---------------------------------------------
Given the text of a news article, determine whether the article's claims are true, partially true, false or other (e.g., claims in dispute) and also detect the topical domain of the article.
- Subtask 3A: Multi-class fake news detection of news articles: This task is a four-class classification problem. Given the text of a news article, determine whether the article's claims are true, partially true, false, or other.
Subtask 3B: Given the text of a news article, determine the article's topical domain.
