It seems the model in your arXiv report used 16bit raw for the restoration while the competition uses 8bit RGB as LQ data. Would it possible to include 16bit RAW images too, and the participants could choose either 8bit RGB or 16bit RAW as their LQ data for restoration?
Posted by: zhihongp @ April 21, 2020, 6:39 p.m.Thanks for your inquiry. This challenge is only designed to restore 3-channel RGB images for fairness. Participants do not need to compare the results with the baseline paper, since it follows a different train/val/test split.
