I would like to thank you to organize this competition. This is what I was looking for.
I wanted to ask we are allowed to apply any kind of data augmentation?

Data augmentation is definitely allowed, as long as the data the augmentation is applied to is only the provided data.

I would like to ask one more question. Although it is clear on the explanations, I still wanted to double-check. After training the model on train set, and validate on val set, it is not allowed to fine-tune using val set, right?
So that's said we only have 5873 images (with 43146 annotations) for training/fine-tuning our model, nothing else?
