I was wondering if anyone also has a large AP gap between validation and test set?
Right now I am having AP_val=0.579, AP_test=0.556.
Anyone having similar situation? Or it's my other mistakes that are causing this issue.

Such gap is reasonable. We also have similar gap in validation set and test set.

Another model of mine gets AP_val=0.540 and AP_test=0.529.
Seems like this gap gets larger when the score increases ?
