> python3 support?

Hello,

Looking at AutoML2, from the forums I think eventually there was a Python 3 docker image released.

Link: https://competitions.codalab.org/forums/14507/2204/

Will that be available for this competition as well? Would love to use Python 3 =]

Thanks!

Hi

We are evaluating this possibility, it is not that simple as in AutoML2. We will keep all updated

Dear competition organizers,

Thank you for running the competition again and diligently answering all questions. While reading the forums, we (ML Freiburg) found that it unfortunately is not possible to run Python3 code at the moment, so we cannot reuse and build on our winning open-source solution from the AutoML2 competition (which uses several Python3-only packages). We would therefore love to see Python3 support for this competition, too, and we believe this would be useful for everyone in order to avoid having to start from scratch. If you need help with porting the script or testing code please let us know. Thank you very much in advance!

Dear ML Freiburg team,

We understand your point for sure, and we are working on incorporating python 3 support. We will try to have this fixed soon (a problem is that one of the developers is out of office until a week from now). Thank you so much for your kind offer of support, we will contact you in case we need some help. We will try to solve this asap.

Best
