Is the final rank only according to all participants' final phase score or the participants' whose paper have been accepted?
If one's paper has been rejected, will his score be ranked in the final rank?
Thank you.
The top scoring papers will be presenting their results in DeepGlobe Workshop. We encourage authors of the rejected submissions to polish their methods and papers, and submit to other venues.
Posted by: ilkedemir @ May 22, 2018, 5:18 a.m.It's a pity that we didn't describe the completed details and the whole work result and methods about this challenge in 3 pages paper. We didn't attach importance to writing a good paper, while focused on improving our method in development phase.
So there are another two questions I want to ask.
1. Will you show the winner's final score or all participants' score in the final leadership? It's convenient for us to compare with winners.
2. When will you plan to open the validation and test mask images?
Thank you again.
It is unfortunate indeed, we hope that the results will encourage you to improve your paper and your method to be published in even better venues. For your questions:
1. We will post the rankings of accepted papers when we announce the winners.
2. As soon as licensing conversations are finalized, we will re-open the competitions. But this will probably be after CVPR as the committee is very busy with the workshop nowadays.
