I had questions regarding the template which needs to be used/followed for abstract that needs to be submitted. The template that is being provided seems to be meant for a book consisting Front page, preface, context, chapter and lot of other portions. But as per the mail, we have to submit a 4-page abstract. I am bit confused about this template and the requirement, can you please clarify it?

The template is correct and we use it to provide book of abstracts for Springer proceedings. So we can use the source for this reason easily. Front page, etc, are not taken into account in page counting for 4-page abstracts.
