> Problem with R2 scoring variables

Dear organizers,

Could you please check if right variables are calculated on R2 and VAR score?
I guess that it should be prediction in yield.csv vs yield on ground truth. It looks like scoring don’t match same variable. If that is true, can you please recalculate leaderboard.

Thanks for raising this point. The reference data and calculations are however correct. Your models are not expected to perform well on the R2 and VARSCORE parameters in the earlier stages of the competition. As data from consequent stages becomes available, you will find that you will be able to tune your model to get better results on these parameters. These will become the most relevant during the final stage of the competition.
