Welcome to the EmotionGIF 2020 submission engine!

This is the submission engine for EmotionGIF 2020, the shared task of Social NLP 2020.

This is the auxiliary track. In this track, you can use external data or custom pretrained models.

If you wish to participate in the auxiliary track, you must also participate (submit predictions) in the main track.

For information about the shared task, submission formats, evaluation metrics, and all other details, visit the EmotionGIF 2020 Website.

Terms and Conditions

READ CAREFULLY

  • Scores may include, but are not limited to, automatic and manual quantitative judgements, qualitative judgements, and such other metrics as the task organizers see fit.
  • You further agree that the system may be named according to the team name provided at the time of submission, or to a suitable shorthand as determined by the task organizers.
  • You further agree that the final decision of metric choice and score value is that of the shared task organizers.
  • You further agree that the task organizers are under no obligation to use or release scores. In addition, scores may be withheld if it is the task organizers' judgement that the submission was incomplete, erroneous, deceptive, or violated the letter or spirit of the competition's rules.
  • You further agree not to use any external data in your models.
  • You further agree to share your code with the competition organizers in case you are declared a winner in the competition. Your code will be kept confidential. If you refuse to share your code, your entry will be disqualified.
  • You further acknowledge that as part of this agreement, it is your responsibility to maintain Twitter's Developer Agreement and Policy. This includes keeping the dataset private. Practice & Development

Start: June 8, 2020, 8 a.m.

Description: Time to practice! Upload a ZIP file containing "dev.json", the predictions for the development data. You can also include the predictions for the evaluations data by adding a "eval.json" to the ZIP file. If included, the "eval.json" file will be automatically forwarded to the evaluation phase.

Evaluation

Start: June 28, 2020, 8 a.m.

Description: This is it! Upload a ZIP file containing "eval.json", the predictions for the evaluation data. The results of this phase will be used to decide who the winners are.

Post-Evaluation

Start: June 30, 2020, 8 a.m.
